Lebanon

This is a sad day in the Middle East as the former Prime Minister of Lebanon was assassinated. This is sad for both the lebanese people as well as the whole Middle East for many reasons. The first being that he helped students go to school in America allowing for the educated to increase. However, the best part of this was they all returned to the country rather then staying in America or Europe. This helped with reconstruction in the country after the civil war in the 90's. Secondly, since the Syrian Army is currently occupying the country they are being blamed which may be used as a reason to invade the country. Also it could lead to the destabilization of the region. This week has seen a great man be lost for no good reason

THE MOST DANGEROUS COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

The most dangerous country in the World is by far and away North Korea. This is even more evident in the new evidence out of Libya and the history of the country. This is the number one concern facing the world and needs to be addressed as soon as possible
First, is with the new evidence that the uranium found in Libya which has been shown to be from North Korea. This evidence is by far and away the most disturbing revelation in the past year. This shows not only has the North Korean nuclear program gone farther then thought, but the scarier version of them selling it on the black market makes this country very dangerous. This means it could be possible for any country or worst case scenario terrorist group to get access to weapons of mass destruction. This puts world security at threat as well as make any country capable of getting nuclear weapons causing the threat of use of force to be null en void.
This new evidence coupled with the history of North Korea breaking their promises makes this country hard to deal with as all the agreements they sign they do not honor. This includes the 1968 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and other bilateral agreements signed primarily with the US and Europe to stop reprocessing of spent fuel rods and inspections by the International Atomic Energy Association.
The policy I recommend is to immediately resume 6 party talks and offer a one chance to stop all nuclear programs and allow inspections. This cessation will lead to the end sanctions and an economic package. If this fails the only other option is to have the countries in the region put pressure in the region and a last resort of regime change. This is due to the seriousness of the situation and why North Korea is the most dangerous country and needs to be dealt with immediately.
